Filanda Inc. is a technology company dedicated to developing advanced applications that can leverage its proprietary aircraft navigation technology and vehicular hardware.

As the Company's focus is on Research & Development, it has rendered available it's technology by a licensing process that provides leading industry participants to purchase, use and modify the original source code (100 software licences min.) and/or hardware components of specific applications (50 units min.).

Interested parties are requested to contact Filanda inc. to obtain a Confidentiality Agreement (the “CA”). Interested parties who execute a CA in the form required will be provided with additional information and will have the opportunity to discuss a possible business relationship. The process will be managed in accordance with procedures that will be established and communicated to interested parties from time to time.

SoftNav's powerful navigation technology is being used in the following fields of application: lidar, seismic, photogrammetry, forestry, remote sensing, surveying & agricultural. The Company has also combined it with inertial technology and digital cameras, in most cases building it's own proprietary electronic interfaces. It is a unique system encompassing many features that are not found in any traditional system.

The SoftNav® UVC™ is a powerful and versatile computer capable of running many applications. It can be used in many vehicles and for many operations. Also, the SoftNav® technology can be adapted for other uses, allowing one navigation interface for many applications. The new applications could even operate on existing computers (other than the UVC™).

The SoftNav® GIS platform allows the use of any raster, vector & standard GIS data file from any country (all available datums & projections) without having to transform them. In most GIS platforms, layers can only be displayed together if they bare a common datum and projection. Files are then transformed and sometimes they get mixed up. In many cases this leads to financial losses.

In SoftNav® GIS, users don't have to "play" with the data anymore. The files are left in their original state without tampering. Users can simultaneously display GIS data & images bearing different Coordinate Systems and Projections (geographical & projected).
